A LANDHOLDER'S PERSPECTIVE
We interviewed one of our landholders to capture their experience of participating in the Bristol Avon Catchment Market. Watch the video here.
The Avon and the Wiltshire Wildlife Trusts and EnTrade are working together to create a market that delivers local, high-impact and verified projects to restore nature and deliver a range of environmental services such as increased biodiversity, carbon reduction and natural flood management.
The Wiltshire Wildlife Trust will work with landholders so that environmental credits from projects are of the highest-integrity, delivering nature recovery where it is most needed. EnTrade will ensure that the market generates fair prices for buyers and sellers through a user-friendly trading platform.
This project is funded by the Government's Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England, the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission.
Heritage and Landscape consultants, CFP, are evaluation specialists who have been working with the project team during the first and second market rounds to measure successes, identify lessons learnt and demonstrate impact.
